Glamgoth? Dark Electro? Industrial Cyberfunk?

Disguised as dark, sleazy electropop, Saul and Richard create their own personal blend of monumental synth bass lines and gritty sounds, elaborate vocal arrangements and brutal, dance-orientated beats.

DEAD LIGHTS was founded in 2020, at the start of the Covid19 pandemic, forcing the international musician / producers duo (UK and NL) to work on all their output from a distance. Separated by the sea and a pandemic, but connected in spirit and a lust for dark, filthy, electronic dance music, they defined their own style, combining elements of glam and goth with a modern, personal twist.

On top of critical acclaim in the press, their songs receive wide support from high profile DJs, and are being played regularly in clubs and on leading radio shows.

DEAD LIGHTS had their live premiere at the Wave Gotik Treffen, Leipzig in 2022, after which they did several more shows in Germany and supported Zanias in the UK in February 2023 (5 shows) and Front Line Assembly in Europe in April 2023 and in April 2025 (UK). Many more gigs followed, as they shared stages with the likes of Ultra Sunn, Mesh, Leaether Strip and others.

DEAD LIGHTS also played a string of festivals: Wavefest (NL), Isle Of Wight Festival UK), Prague Gothic Treffen (CZ), European Dark Dance Treffen (DE), Dark Fest (DE), ElectriCityCPH (DK), Resistanz (UK), Momentum (NL), Stella Nomine (DE), Extramuralhas (PT), Castle Party (PL).
